Lately, I’ve been thinking about my blog. I left it for over a year, and I really miss having a space to share my photographs—a place just for me. I’ve been posting everything on my Instagram accounts, and now I finally have one for this blog too (which I haven’t even updated here yet… but I will, eventually).
For now, I wanted to share the latest pictures of my life in Sayulita since I moved here after returning from London. I needed something different—not a big city, but a small town. I’ve always felt drawn to surf towns, the beach, and all those tropical vibes, probably because my hometown is also by the ocean.
Right now, I’m working at a hotel as a reservations agent and in customer service—something I usually do (I like happy people, lol). Life here has been quite a journey—lots of learning, self-awareness, vibing with others, understanding myself, and learning to love myself too. So many people come to this town to heal.
Sayulita has this magic that’s hard to put into words—it’s more of a feeling. A long time ago, when I used to visit with friends to escape the ordinary life in Puerto Vallarta, I met a friend of a friend from Canada. She told me she felt like Sayulita had this big energy vortex that either absorbs you or kicks you out of town.
That thought stuck with me. I knew then that I had to live here one day, but at the time, my calling was elsewhere. I had other experiences to live, and so I did. Now, I’m back, embracing this beautiful town, the chill people, and the relaxed lifestyle. What more could I ask for? (Okay, I’m lying, lol—I could ask for a couple more things). 😜
Anyway…
Xx,
Gre ❤

Introducing this amazing beach called Punta del Burro in Bahia de Banderas, Nayarit. It's a virgin surfing beach near Punta de Mita, where the locals come to enjoy the waves.
My friends and I, along with their daughters, came to the beach and took a few photographs, I'm starting to learn how to edit photographs on Lightroom and Photoshop, so, I'm still a beginner.
Right now, I'm into blue skies and colorful landscapes, but I want to try different things so let's see how I'm doing these upcoming days.

Quick post just to show a couple of photographs I've been working on, trying to play with the light and the landscapes of the bay.
My best friends and I went to Punta de Mita as usual for a surfing session. The sunset was so intense and gorgeous this time that I had to take pictures of the light. I kind of like the way the silhouette of the human body looks on camera with the sunlight.
xx,
Grecia.
