Los Arcos National Park

Hi everyone!

Last week I went with a friend to Los Arcos Natural Park, to have a relaxing moment after work. I drove to this place and we watched the sunset, took a couple of photographs and then he had the brilliant idea of paying for an hour in a panga (it's like a fisher boat), so we went a little bit further (around 5 min driving) to Mismaloya, it's a small town with a public beach area next to Barceló Hotel where you can do a few water activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, paddle boarding, etc.

It was around 5:30 pm and the weather wasn't exactly good to get in the water and swim but we still paid for the boat ride. The day became more exciting because not only was I able to see a different sunset with all the clouds, but I also saw whales!

I've never seen them so close to me, you know, the place I work is a condominium way up on a hill so it has this amazing view from the whole bay, and sometimes between November and March, it's whales' season due they come here to have their babies and after a couple of months before spring, they go back to North America.

Anyway, the point is that I have only seen them from far away. and you can barely see the tail. I have seen them jump and do all those amazing tricks that they usually do. Unbelievable!

I couldn't take pictures of the whales because they were so fast :( but I hope I can catch them some other time.

Xx
